Hey there, here's the update: I've added a few songs to the Music Pg. These are songs from my first two CDs that were not as much in the spotlight but want to be heard! Please have a listen and I hope you enjoy. There are some Free downloads as well!

My upcoming 3rd CD, ( 2nd studio release) is developing nicely. I have a studio picked out and some noteworthy accompaniment lined up. I'll let you know when it's all official.  I hope to be recording in the studio this summer:)

Inspired by Maine, the song titles are "Soul Drive, Katahdin, Back To Cadillac, Not Alone, Do Me Right, Dusty Road, Pitter Patter, Waiting For The Loons, Everywhere I Go,  On Maine Stream" ( & maybe a couple more will sprout :) Like a garden it will grow in it's own time. But I can't wait! hee hee. ON FEB. 6, I ENJOYED ENTERTAINING THE CROWD AT ARTHUR L. MANN LIBRARY, W. PARIS MAINE, AT THEIR CELEBRATION OF THE NEW ADDITION TO THE "LITTLE CASTLE LIBRARY". IT WAS VERY SPECIAL, HARD WORKING PEOPLE, BEAUTIFUL NEW ADDITON, GREAT FOOD! I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO GOING BACK THERE:) MANY THANKS TO ALL! Love to my fans, family and friends. Dear Friends,

As I look upon the traffic visiting my site and I see the visits from different countries, from non profit orgnizations, networks, and ukulelia.com, I feel so connected to all of you, and I thank you for visiting.

This keeps me going. To know that there are people out there who benefit from the music from my heart, inspires me to keep writing and spreading new songs.

Hello!

Today is my birthday and I'm celebrating a musical transition.

I have written a dozen new songs and will be copyrighting them with the Library of Congress this winter. These are soul driven songs about my life in Maine, that have sparked the ember of a new CD.

And though the name "Ukelady" will always be a part of me and will headline my Kids Shows, I've introduced my given middle name "Christine", a name I've always loved.

Kudos & Thanks to all who supported this benefit concert put on with Rusty Wiltjer of Waterford, and Bob Wallace of Harrison, (pictured above w/ me) at the Fare Share Commons Art Gallery, Main St., Norway, ME. to benefit Beth Coffin's family.

Concert proceeds went to "Beth's House Committee" a group of local advocates raising money to build a house for 24 year old Beth Coffin of West Paris, who struggles with Spinal Muscular Atrophy and whose parents suffer from chronic Lyme Disease. Their home has become unsafe and the community is pulling together to raise money for this cause.

Summer Greetings!

Yesterday I had a wonderful time performing for kids of all ages and their at Thomas Memorial Library in Cape Elizabeth, ME. as part of their summer Outdoor Concert Series ! Thank you to Rachel Davis, children's librarian and the Library faculty for inviting me :)

 

My kid's concert for the first graders at the "Little Castle" Library in W. Paris was very special. Check out the new photos on my Photo Pg.

 

The Waterford World's Fair was sunny and crowded with folks and all kinds of farm animals and fun! I had a great experience at this good old-fashioned country fair!

 

 Post Office Park in Portland, ME. on July 24 was a wash out, due to rain. But percussionist Rusty Wiltjer and I have some awesome new musical vibes ready for future hoots.

 

Naples Public Library was a full house in early July! And I'm thankful to Heather Pierson for her support in bringing singer songwriters to this community. See Photo Pg.
